The decisions you make in life have consequences.
I came across this graphic which perfectly visualizes a concept I've tried explaining to people I care about most. I wish we could get it in front of every high schooler.
The decisions you make in life have consequences.
Sometimes the decisions that seem short-term easy actually make life more challenging long-term.
Examples:
It's easy to not work out, eat junk food, and stay up late. It 's hard to have poor health later in life.
It's easy to skip college, do the bare minimum at work, and spend everything you make. It's hard to be financially unable to retire.
It's easy to hold a grudge. It's hard to be lonely later.
It's hard to be disciplined, highly skilled, and to delay gratification, but those who have are the ones that make life look easy.
Stephen Curry didn't become the best 3 point shooter by chance, it was a choice.
Are your habits today on par with your dreams of tomorrow?
What other examples have you seen with this concept?
